Overview of SSC GD Recruitment 2024:
The SSC GD Recruitment 2024 notification was expected to be released in August 2024. But it has been released early. This drive will have over 40,000 vacancies for people applying for constable (GD). If you are a candidate, you can start applying by 27th August 2024 and the window for applying will be open till 27th September 2024. As for the exams, they will be conducted between January and February 2025 and the results will be out by March 2025 (tentative).

2. Login with your SSC username and password, if you do not have a username password then sign up and make one.

SSC GD selection process:
The selection process for SSC GD 2024 is simple but it consists of multiple stages, which are:
1. Computer Based Test: An online exam consisting of objective-type questions covering General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Knowledge & General Awareness, Elementary Mathematics, and English/Hindi. First, there will be a computer based exam where candidates will have to answer multiple choice questions. The questions will be based on General Knowledge, English/Hindi language, reasoning, and elementary mathematics.
2. Physical test: if you qualify for the computer based test then you have to give the physical test where your physical fitness will be tested.
3. Medical Examination: Once you pass your physical examination, then comes the medical examination where the officials will see if you are medically fit for the job.
4. Document Verification: If you pass all the tests then there is a 90% chance that you will be selected, just make sure you submit correct documents.
What is the exam pattern for the SSC GD examination?
The CBT will be having questions from the following categories:
– Reasoning: 25 questions, 25 marks
– Gk: 25, ques, 25 Marks
– Mathematics: 25 questions, 25 marks
– English/Hindi: 25 questions, 25 marks
Total duration: 90 minutes
