Educational Qualification:
- Librarian: Master’s Degree in Library Science/Information Science with 60% marks and 10 years’ experience as Deputy Librarian or equivalent.
- Scientific/Technical Posts: B.E./B.Tech./M.Sc./MCA in the relevant field with a first class and required experience.
- Executive Engineer (Civil): First Class B.E./B.Tech. in Civil Engineering.
- Superintendent: First-class bachelor’s degree or master’s degree with computer knowledge.
- Junior Engineer (Electrical): First Class B.E./B.Tech. or Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
- Technical Assistant: B.E./B.Tech./MCA/Diploma/B.Sc./M.Sc. in a relevant field.
- Senior/Junior Assistant: 10+2 with typing speed and computer knowledge.
- Technician/Senior Technician: 10+2 with Science/ITI/Diploma in relevant trade.
- Office/Lab Attendant: 10+2 with a science background is required for the Lab Attendant position.

- Librarian: Up to 56 years

Selection Procedure for VNIT Nagpur Recruitment 2026
The selection process depends on the post:
- The selection process includes an Objective Screening Test (Computer-Based Test), which consists of 100 questions, 200 marks, and 0.5 negative marking.
- For certain posts, a Subjective/Skill/Proficiency Test is conducted.
- Interviews are conducted for higher-level positions such as Librarian and Officer.
Final selection will be based on merit.
Application Fee for VNIT Nagpur Recruitment 2026
- UR/OBC/EWS: ₹2360 + ₹1000 refundable caution deposit
- SC/ST/PwBD/Female: No application fee, only ₹1000 refundable caution deposit
