Benefits of the Arunachal Pradesh State Stipend Scheme

Arunachal Pradesh Government will provide the following benefits to all eligible students belonging to the Scheduled Tribe Category under its State Stipend Scheme:

Each Student will receive Rs. 1,400/- per month for 11 months as a Stipend.

A per-month stipend will be provided to eligible Students.

Apart from that, additional assistance of Rs.1000/- per year will also be provided as a book grant.

A total of Rs.16,400/- per year financial assistance will be received by the students for their studies.

The scheme is designed to encourage higher studies, especially in technical and professional studies, amongst ST students.

Who can apply for the Arunachal Pradesh State Stipend Scheme?

To apply for the Arunachal Pradesh State Stipend Scheme, students must fulfil the following conditions:

The student must belong to a Scheduled Tribe of Arunachal Pradesh.

Must be a permanent resident of Arunachal Pradesh.

Must not be engaged in full-time employment.

Must be pursuing higher, professional, technical, or research education

Minimum 75% monthly attendance is mandatory

The student must maintain good conduct and should not be under disciplinary action.

The institution must be recognised by UGC, AICTE, MCI, DCI, CCH, or other approved bodies.

Visit NSP Portal- scholarships.gov.in

Click on New Registration and enter the correct details

Receive the student Registration ID after successful registration

Log in using the Fresh Application option

Fill in the application form carefully

Click Final Submit to complete the application

Save the system-generated registration number for future reference.
