BE / B.Tech in Electrical or Electronics Engineering passed after January 2022 from a recognized university/institution. Must be able to read & write Kannada.

Diploma Apprentice (Electrical):

3-year Diploma in Electrical Engineering passed after January 2022 from recognized polytechnic/ institution. Must be able to read & write Kannada.

Download the application format from the official GESCOM website at – gescom.karnataka.gov.in. Fill in the application form with correct details in self-written or typed format. Attach all required self-attested documents and 3 recent passport-size photographs. Write “For 2026–27 Apprenticeship Training – BE / Diploma holder” at the top of the application and on the envelope. Submit the application in person or by post to the given address: General Manager (Admin & HR), Corporate Office, GESCOM (JESCO), Station Road, Kalaburagi – 585102. On or before 05 June 2026.

• Training is under the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme as per the Apprentices Act, 1961.
• Training duration is one year.
• Candidates who have already completed or are currently undergoing apprenticeship training in any other organization under the Apprentices Act, 1961, or have one year of work experience, are not eligible to apply.
• Candidates must have passed BE/Diploma in Electrical & Electronics/Electrical Engineering after January 2022.
• During the training period, candidates must arrange their own food, accommodation, and other expenses.
